Activity

Instructions:
  1. Open a new document in Microsoft word (Microsoft Office)
  2. Make your own weather report for different cities of our country (3 cities for Northern zone, 3 cities for Central zone and 3 cities for Southern zone)
  3. Visit the following link and check information for your work http://www.bbc.co.uk/schools/whatisweather/aboutweather/index.shtml
  4. You must add pictures for each city and write how the weather will be for next day. To do this you need to describe temperature (minimun and maximun), and some characterisctics of these elements: wind direction, wind force, precipitation, temperature, sunshine, visibility and type of clouds.

Activity:

  • Go to www.kerpoof.com
  • Click on Make a Picture and select the waterfall scene.
  • Create a scene that shows the lifecycle of a butterfly. Your picture should contain:

       a) A plant where the butterfly can lay its eggs (remember, the eggs would be too  
           small to see in the scene.
       b) A caterpillar.
       c) A chrysalis (and a tree or plant for it to hag from)
       d) A beautiful butterfly
  • Do not forget to add some flowers so the butterflies have nectar to drink!
  • Save your picture. Click on JPG and save it on your folder.
